• Planning into the future, to ensure future developments meet the unique needs of our community so that we are not rushing to recover missed opportunities.

My candidacy for the Pleasanton City Council is grounded in a dual commitment to sustainable development and 

fiscal responsibility, reflecting a balanced approach to city governance. 

Unfortunately the days of "NO GROWTH" are over. The California legislature has put into place laws that allow developers to circumvent the City planning process.  Developers can now go directly to the County or the State of California if the City doesn't play ball.  We need Pleasanton to be involved in the process to ensure Pleasanton's needs are being met and that we benefit as a community.  No one wants the volume of building that is occurring in Dublin to happen in Pleasanton, to do this we need to be involved in the planning of future developments today, not waiting until planning with other entities is nearing completion.

I acknowledge the need to manage growth carefully to safeguard Pleasanton's natural environment. This perspective ensures that as the city expands, it does so in a way that minimizes ecological impact and promotes sustainability.

I am an advocate for green infrastructure underscoring a proactive approach to urban planning. This includes promoting sustainable building practices, integrating renewable energy solutions, and enhancing green spaces. These initiatives not only support environmental goals but also contribute to a higher quality of life for Pleasanton residents.

My support for responsible growth signifies my commitment to considering the long-term implications of development. This approach aims to balance economic progress with environmental preservation, ensuring that future generations can enjoy Pleasanton's resources and natural beauty.
