The Pleasanton City Council has recently approved new voluntary campaign finance limits. Here are the details:

• Craig's campaign is adhering to state limits that cap contributions at $5,500 per individual or business.  
• Voluntary spending limits for mayoral campaigns are set at $30,000, while council seat campaigns have a limit of $24,000.

• (Note) The City of Pleasanton has a voluntary cap on contributions to election campaigns at $1,000 per individual and business if candidates choose that option.
